Simulation of a Loudspeaker Driver
The accurate reproduction and amplification of sound is essential to the design of loudspeakers; knowing that your sound source will be converted with high-fidelity is key to the success of your product. In this demonstration video, you will learn how COMSOL Multiphysics can be used to design a loudspeaker driver using the AC/DC Module and Acoustics Module to simulate the physics interactions that take place within the entire system. The user-friendly COMSOL Multiphysics environment allows engineers to easily simulate a loudspeaker driver from electronic signal input to high-quality sound production, and include all relevant phenomena such as electromagnetics, structural mechanics, acoustics, and acoustic-solid interactions. Acoustic design encompasses several aspects and is most effectively modeled using the multiphysics approach, where all coupled physics can be accurately represented and simulated.
