How the NeuRx DPS™ Works with ALS

An electrical stimulus is delivered to surgically implanted electrodes that cause diaphragm contraction. Currently, diaphragm pacing is used in patients who have spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
