Grand Prize Winner Converts Carbon Emissions Into Clean Energy
New technology that converts carbon emissions into a clean energy resource has earned a team from Cornell University and Dimensional Energy the Grand Prize of the 2017 'Create the Future' Design Contest. The ‘HI-LIGHT’ solar thermal chemical reactor converts carbon dioxide to hydrocarbons. On the evening he accepted the prize for his team, Xiangkun (Elvis) Cao of Cornell University discussed the innovation and goals for the future.
