Accelerating an American Ride Back Into Space
NASA and its Commercial Crew Program partners are currently accelerating the development of rockets and spacecraft to ensure that American astronauts can launch from U.S. soil to the International Space Station and back by the middle of this decade. During a Status Update News Conference on January 9th at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, representatives from NASA, Blue Origin, The Boeing Company, Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC) Space Systems, and Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) discussed how their goals to end the gap in U.S. human access to space are aligned.
